After 56 tournament contests, it’s come down to two entries in the 2025 version of EQE March Madness that have the chance to lay claim to being the Champion. By Monday evening either Conference of Champions, a tearful and anachronistic salute to a group of institutions torn apart by the temptation and lure of money, or Harry the Horse, which we can only guess is a tearful and anachronistic salute to the crooked, but lovable gambler portrayed in the classic film, Guys and Dolls, also torn apart by the temptation and lure of money, will walk away with first place winnings.
Should Florida prevail over Houston, Conference of Champions, an entry belonging to a semi-administrative representative of our little pool, will be our 2025 champ. However, should Houston prevail over Florida, Harry the Horse, an entry belonging to one of the administrators of our little pool, will……….hey, wait a minute – you mean no matter what happens on Monday the winnings go to pool administrative personnel???
OK, time out here. An investigation is being launched to get to the bottom of this obviously rigged contest.
