Entries will be accepted BEFORE AND AFTER the play-in games, which take place on TBD.

A blank tournament tree will appear in your browser (this has been tested using a whole bunch of different browsers). It is possible that the entry applet will not work correctly on your browser. If you experience problems, please let us know ASAP and we’ll send you FBI Director Christopher Wray, and together we’ll do our best to help.
When you click on the Web Based Entry link, you will be whisked by the latest electronic technology to the web entry site. If this doesn’t work, please let us know. Should you find hoopness.com on your own, the pool id is “Hoopsmadness”. Your password will have been sent to you via email. (If you misplaced your password, please contact headquarters or email us at hoopsmaster@eqemarchmadness.com. Please fill in as follows:

You should then find yourself at the Hoopness Plus Player Main Menu page. Click on “Create an Entry” and you should find yourself with several boxes to fill in and a bracket to fill out. Simply click on the team that you think will win and that’s all there is to it! If you change your mind, you can go back and click on the other team.
Entry name is the name that will show up in reports. This can be your real name, or you can make one up, but it must be unique.
Password is a unique password that you create for your own use. You will be asked to reenter that password again. Once your entry name and your password are in the system you will be able to use them to go back to the website and review or change your entry. If you forget your password we should be able to help you. Give us an email at hoopsmaster@eqemarchmadness.com.
EQE Contact: If you are not a present or past EQE (and affiliated companies) employee, enter the name of your EQE (present or past) contact. If you ARE a current or past EQE employee, you may leave this blank.
Player Name: Your name. Your real name. What people outside of your house actually call you. We’re not checking driver’s licenses here (and we do encourage entries by folks too young to have drivers licenses as long as they’ve got access to their parent’s bank accounts), but if we can’t figure out who you are, and your EQE contact doesn’t know who you are, your entry will be folded, stapled, mutilated, and then destroyed.
Tiebreak Points: Enter the TOTAL number of points that you expect to be scored in the championship game of the tournament. This will be used as a tiebreaker should two or more entries have the same score at the end of the tournament. The entry with the closest tiebreak points to the actual number of points scored in the championship game will win the tie break. Again, this number should be your guess as to what the TOTAL score in the championship game will be. If you think that South Dakota State is going to defeat Gonzaga 73 to 65 in the final game, enter 73+65= 138!!

Click on the submit button. If you did everything correctly, you will get a receipt page with a printable report of all entry information. Print this out and save it. Send the administrator an email if you suspect that something went wrong.
You should NOT try to print out a partially complete entry. The java application that you are using to create the entry does not support printing very well. You will be able to print out your tree after you submit it!
If you submit an entry that contains errors, drop the administrator an email and we’ll fix it or delete it!
Should all else fail, we’ll happily send you a copy of the standalone entry program. Just drop the administrator an email.
Paying for your entry: Instructions on entry fees will be created and sent to you based on a complex set of procedures in short order.
